About Context Publications
Context Publications specializes in all types of book publishing. We can handle most tasks in-house, but if needed, we have a huge network of talented authors, editors and proof readers that support us.
We take real pride in doing a great job. So, before any project starts we do detailed research, develop a brief and all times communicate clearly and personally with you. Knowing our clients 100%, we can come up with a product that leaves no room for errors or mistakes. When the concept is done, you know exactly what to expect and when we will deliver.
The Physical Books – We offer full colour, two colour and mono books with cased hardback binding and limp binding as well as lamination and foil blocking where needed. Perfect or casebound, long run litho or short run digital, we can help.
Full colour : High quality full colour books allow your images to come alive and will help explain any message. The page design is critical and our experienced team of designers along with our partner photographers.
Mono colour: Where production cost is critical mono colour printing can help. Don’t forget that great designs can be made out of a range of colour gradients and we can use a coated paper to help the copy stand out on a range of papers eg gloss or satin.
Perfect binding: This is the standard binding method but only through experience can you get the ‘perfect’ bound book. PUR binding can increase the binding strength, notching helps make a strong contact all leading to a the best product possible.
Case Binding: This method of binding can be referred to as a hard back, with case binding the pages of the book. This is arranged in sections and then stitched or sewn together in the correct page sequence. Next in the process the hard covers, which can be made of either plastic, vinyl, or cloth are laid over cardboard and attached to the book using glued-on endpapers.
At Context we can offer the option of a case bound book with a slipcase for protection. However we have other alternatives, such as laminated front covers.
